Walkathon Program conducted on the occasion of 16 Days Activism X-Pose Nepal

From 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day, and the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign is a time to galvanize action to end violence against women and girls around the world. The international campaign originated from the first Women's Global Leadership Institute coordinated by the Center for Women's Global Leadership in 1991.
X-Pose Nepal, a non-profit, non-political social organization which is working to reduce violence against and child abuse since 2005, is also going to organize an Awareness Program on December 9, 2016 in Patan during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
In this campaign, X-pose Nepal has thought to involve youth as a main stakeholders because young people has always been a strong driving force for change and can use their knowledge, power and passion to challenge negative attitudes, gender stereotypes and behaviour that set in early and lead to violence and abuse which is existing in our society.
